Success!

I passed the 3rd CCNA semester today, about 2.5 weeks ahead of schedule which is about half of the full amount of time given to us to complete the semester. Hopefully I also passed the product development exam I did last week. So now I can concentrate on the 4th and last semester of my CCNA studies and the Visual Basic project. I have less than a month to complete the Visual Basic project so I really should put my mind into that too, before it's too late to finalize my current code scribblings. I also need to make the database connection to function properly. Hopefully that source code Baz gave me earlier helps with that. I think my earlier database connection project at school didn't even work properly, so it's not a good piece of software to be taken as an example. So help from Baz is highly appreciated.

The thing with Microsoft wanting to send a PC to me has been worked out. As I read the agreement more throughly I noticed that I can't talk about it anymore. If those papers arrived at Microsoft safely (as the fax was giving me trouble), I'm keeping quiet about this from this day forth. Nobody wants to play around with Microsoft's lawyers because there's a 99% chance that you get hurt, financially.

I've also recently been watching Stargate SG-1, instead of waiting for new episodes to be aired here in Finland. Thanks to some cockatiel for that. So, I think I have my hands full of stuff currently. I'm just waiting for this whole school thing to end, I really need a break. I need to gather energy to face hard studying in a different country. Dress code, 80% attendance at classes, 70% minimum in exams etc., but I think it will be well worth the trouble. And not to even mention the 2 month summer vacation I'm going to have over there when it's winter in Finland.

Ok, I think this is enough blogging for now. Time to return to the world of Goa'ulds, Asgards, Replicators etc. for a brief moment before hitting the hay.

I don't even remember what I did around Christmas. I don't think I was watching Star Trek then. At least I was drunk a lot before and after new year's eve :)

I have seen it from TV up to the 5th season. So I've watched the 6th and 7th season. Currently watching the 8th season :)
